Summer Longwood Gardens Engagement Session

Jessica & Christopher decided to do a late summer engagement session at Longwood Gardens which makes for the prettiest romantic background for your engagement photos! We LOVE doing engagement sessions with couples as a way to get to know them and we know from feedback from other couples that having the experience gives them so much confidence for their wedding day. This session was extra special as both myself and my associate photographer Michelle were there.

Checkout how fabulous Jessica’s gown is. We especially love it when couples dress up for their sessions. It’s like a trial run for your wedding day. We are thrilled to be working with Jessica & Christopher for their big celebration at Greenville Country Club in 2020!

Brett and Matt were married on a perfect summer day in the elegant and classy Hotel DuPont. We love all beautiful floral designs created by RAM Floral. Brett and Matt’s ceremony was held in the charming du Barry room under a gorgeous chuppa. We love using the front entry way into the hotel for formals, where it’s bright and has a timeless appeal, there’s always a breeze and it’s shady to keep guest cool. The reception was in the stunning Gold Ballroom, which is a guest favorite. It never grows old hearing the guest sigh out loud and ooh and ah in response to the beauty of the space when they open the doors to the ballroom. The Hotel DuPont is the perfect place for elegant summer wedding.

Winterthur Museum & Garden Wedding

Monica and Andrew were married on the hottest day of the year in the our favorite garden at Winterthur Museum and Garden. We love the stone wall in this enchanting sunken garden, nestled next to the Reflecting Pool. It makes for the perfect space as a backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Check out how beautiful everyone looked even though it was a pressure cooker day of a day. We love a wedding at Winterthur no matter what kind of weather it is!

Monica and her bridesmaids wore gorgeous Hayley Paige gowns from Jennifer’s Bridal. We love a pale pink gown, always the perfect choice for a summer garden wedding. How beautiful are the floral designs in the soft feminine pale colors by Anne Ottley Floral Design? Our other favorite thing about Monica and Andrew’s day was how much fun the two of them had, they were both had huge smiles and were on the verge of laughing out loud all day long.

St Anthony’s Church + Hotel DuPont Wedding

Emily and Robbie were married on a steamy hot Friday at St Anthony’s and had their classic wedding reception at the Hotel DuPont Gold Ballroom. We love all the classy architecture and that beautiful ornate front facade of the Hotel DuPont which is perfect for formals, especially on a hot summer day.

Emily and Robbie met from a mutual friend originally to be roommates but she ended up telling him she did to want to live with him because she thought he was cute!

Emily says, “Our first date: He made a bet over a Villanova basketball championship game to go on a date with me. If Villanova won, he had to take me out to dinner and if Villanova lost, I had to take him out to dinner. It was a win win!”

Emily says, “What we loved most about our wedding was being around all the people we care most about. From California to Delaware. The indescribable feeling of love and support still is strong!”

Amanda and Ryan were married on a stormy Saturday at the beautiful Concord Country Club. We loved that there was a huge rain storm which abruptly stopped and the sun popped out just in time for Amanda to walk down the aisle and have the perfect outdoor ceremony. We were so thrilled that the weather turned out to be perfect and just in the nick of time. Yay, Christine from Concord Country Club for making the outdoor ceremony happen!
